Wooden Dough Bowl - Refills

Want to continue to enjoy your Simply Vela Dough Bowl candle time and again? Our refill program allows you to continue enjoying your dough bowl candles as many times as you'd like.   

Simply follow the below instructions and you'll be enjoying your newly filled dough bowl candle in no time:

1. Choose your Bowl Style from the options above.
2. Choose your refill scent from our current offerings and add your chosen scent to the customer notes at checkout. If you would like a scent that was available in the past but is no longer listed, please contact us directly for availability prior to placing your order. 
3. Complete your purchase.
4. Wait for an email from us within 1 business day with the shipping address and instructions.
5. Purchase a shipping label and send your used dough bowl back to our shop or for Local Customers, you can drop your bowl off.
6. Once we receive your bowl, we will get to work refilling it. Receive your newly filled bowl within 3-4 weeks.

Simply Vela's Dough Bowl Refill Program is only available for Dough Bowls that were purchased from our shop. We are unable to guarantee the quality of dough bowls purchased elsewhere, therefore we are unable to fill Dough Bowls purchased from any other shop.

All candles are wicked, scented, and hand-poured in small batches in Columbus, Ohio.

Candle Care

As with all candles, care must be taken to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.  We always recommend that you abide by the federal warnings/burning instructions that are listed on the sticker that is attached to each and every one of our candles.  Remember to always trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting. The first time you light your candle, let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling.

Carrier-Calculated Shipping via UPS, or enjoy free shipping on orders over $75.00. Contactless pick-up for our local Columbus, Ohio customers is available most Saturdays. Please contact us to make pickup arrangements.

Shipping during the Summer Months

Due to the characteristics of soy wax and the heat of the summer months, to ensure your candles arrive to you as intended, orders will only be shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays during the summer.
